Ogden Urban legends

Flo :   Ok so you've heard this one right?  Some girl

Ogden Urban legends

Exchange Building:  The Exchange Building was built around 19  for the stock yards.  For   years it handled stock going in and out of Utah by train.  Some Web sites and books say it was once a mental institution where doctors did horrible experiments on patients. â€‹

  • BRIGHAM CITY: The Inter-mountain Indian School.   The original purpose for the compound was for Bushnell Army Hospital During WWll.  It served as a hospital from 1942-1946 specializing in  amputee wounds.   This was one of the first hospitals to use penicillin.
  • After it's closure it sat empty for a short time and was then transformed into an Indian school. In 1950 Navajo Indian children from elementary to high school enrolled in the dormitory school.  It served this purpose to 1984.
  •  I believe these buildings were actively paranormal at one time and maybe still are.  I do believe there were satanic rituals performed in underground tunnels at one point in the 80's but those tunnels are filled in.   The original buildings if not torn down are in very dangerous condition.  NO ONE should be messing around in any of the abandoned buildings.  There are businesses in some of the original buildings but please ask for permission from the business owners.  Police in Brigham city tend to be very . . . . specific in the rounds of their jobs .  Not much happens up here so they are all eager to find something.  If you get on the BCPD list. . your on it for good.  Don't Do It.  It is not worth it.

Confessions of a Ghost Hunter

Urban Legends debunked.

#1 Confession. . . . . . We don't  HUNT Ghosts. We are paranormal investigators.

In Utah the definition of Hunting something means you pack up a bag of warm clothing, ammunition, sometimes a tent and sleeping bags and usually a case of beer, you go up in the mountains with your shot gun and try to kill some poor defenseless animal. You sit around with your friends in the dark, telling stories, drinking, Waiting for the sun rise so the hunt can begin.  If you did manage to kill some poor animal, you drag it back home bragging how you shot the biggest one.

The only similarities to what we do and hunting is packing a bag and sitting in the dark with friends. We actually wait for Sundown to start our 'hunt' (although it isn't necessary)

We shoot things with EMF detectors, video cameras and audio recorders.

We DON'T want to drag any thing back home with us.

We don't drink beer while investigating unless we think it will draw out a spirit.

Go to our web page to see what we are all about.

Each year at "Night At The Museum" at Ogden's Union Station we are asked

"Have you checked out. . .?"   "Have you been to. . . . . ?"

"Have you heard about. . . .?

The truth is many of the reportedly haunted places listed on the internet or in books

are not based on fact. They are myths, probably based on a story heard somewhere and passed around

but not based on fact.

If you know of a place that is haunted we would love to hear from you.  Tell us about it

Listed here are facts about some of the locations we have read to be haunted.

If you choose to go investigate ANY location please consider our RULES OF INVESTIGATING.
